This is the flagship for Just James Outdoors and the reason for its existence. This is what you wish your BDU's or ACU's would have been. They are classy, practical, comfortable and durable; a modest improvement of a uniform set that was almost perfect from the beginning. The development of these fatigues were over a year in the making incorporating feedback from infantry and special operations veterans.

This jacket is equally adept with a collared shirt and a necktie as it is worn alone, under kit for a week in the bush. It features the standard pen pocket in the upper left breast pocket and a shoulder pocket that provides equally perfect access to a cell phone, a notepad or your tobacco. The shoulder pocket likewise has a pen pocket.

The Mk II Jungle Fatigues are made of 100% cotton ripstop in a true OG-107. There are no hook and loop swatches, random zippers or chafe inducing mesh panels. They are not made of plastic and coated with toxic chemicals. Like the originals they are breathable and quick drying.

The Mk II Jungle Fatigues are sized and fit comparably to the original jungle fatigues and BDU's. Our model is 5'8" and is wearing a Small/Regular.

Lots of good things to say about this jacket! Its clear that its top quality from the moment I took it out of the package. Putting it on I am reminded of the summer BDU jackets during my Fort Knox days. It doesn't feel heavy despite this size and I expect it to get more comfortable with time. Plenty of well placed pockets that beg to be loaded down with all your needs for either a short hike or a day around town. Can't recommend enough and I look forward to ordering the sweater soon.

The only bad thing I can say is that it fits bigger than expected and at my age its not because I have lost weight.

The jungle sweater came in the mail and it looks great. It’s fine Italian wool and has that unique military look with the top three buttons that’s unique to that type of sweater. It goes great with a pair of jeans and it’s very form fitting. I recommend that if you’re on the muscular side that you go a size up. The overall qualities is on par with the best brand names in Italian wool sweaters. I am very happy with the product.

Excellent fit and style. Great material and I really appreciate the rugged waist tabs and zipper fly. Pockets divided well so it is easy to carry a phone, glasses case, wallet, etc. without them banging around and rubbing.

So comfortable and rugged, these are my standard for range day and hiking wear. Pocket placement is perfect, and the material is tough but soft. Great fit too!!
